Terms of Service

General Policies

• The client will need access to a contact method which can send and receive high resolution images. Make sure to check your spam folders and message filters when expecting updates/replies just in case.
• Clients are responsible for the digital storage and back-up of their commissioned artworks. The artist is not obligated to keep the commission in their galleries.
• I reserve the right to refuse/reject or cancel any commission order for any reason.

Commercial Use and Publishing

• The artist retains all commercial rights to the commissioned artwork. This means I may upload, edit, publish or otherwise share the artwork in galleries, prints, portfolios and as advertisements for my artistic services.
• Commissioned Illustrations are for personal use only unless discussed beforehand. Additional payments and or royalties will be discussed depending on the purpose of the artwork and the size of the business.
• Unless otherwise stated via written permission, the client may only use the artwork for non commercial purposes. You may re-upload the artwork in full or for use as a graphic or avatar for social media icons, web banners and profile pictures; Signature and watermark must remain unless credit is otherwise visibly given.
• The artist reserves all rights to my artwork for my own personal social media posts, advertisements, print sales(if a commission is a gift or something you don’t want posted online, please let me know.)
• The artist does not permit the use of their artwork or images in the training or other uses in training generative “AI art” or similar programs, nor do they consent to the uploading of their work into any Machine Learning datasets or any sites that may use them.

Payment and Pricing

• A deposit of 50% of the commission quote is required for the artist to start on the commission. The full commission price must be paid in full to receive the commissioned artwork.
• Prices are subject to change at any time. Clients are not owed retroactive refunds due to raised prices.
• Payments are accepted through Paypal. Failure to pay the invoice within 14 days will result in your commission slot being forfeited. Prices are in US Dollars (USD). Cryptocurrency will not be accepted.

Revisions, Refunds and Cancellations

• Revisions are allowed during the sketch phase, which is when the artist will share with the client with a work in progress update. At this point the process will be paused until approval is given and things look right. This is a crucial time to request any changes if needed. Significant alterations after the WIP is approved will require payment for the additional labor on the piece.
• Completed commissions are non-refundable, and full refunds are only given if I haven’t completed any work on the piece.
• Partial refunds are determined depending on how much work has already been completed on the artwork.
• The artist reserves the right to re-use any elements in the canceled commission with the exception of any owned by the client. All characters and properties of the client will be removed.

Privacy Policy

• The artist will never sell client data or use a client’s personal information for personal gain of any kind.
• Private commissions (unposted) and or anonymity of the commissioner are available upon request of the client.
